Africa Tech Week Awards 2026 — two categories
The Africa Tech Week Awards (Topco Media) celebrate the companies shaping the continent's digital frontier. addanode was named a finalist in:
- Africa Tech: AI Innovation, Maturity & Collaboration Award — the category where the addaNet platform's AI layer lives: anomaly detection, predictive-maintenance models and assisted diagnostics built for African industrial data, at African price points.
- Africa Tech: GreenTech & Circular Economy Award — the category where our sustainability work lives: monitoring that pays for itself in saved water, fuel and energy, from non-revenue water reduction to effluent compliance and fuel-theft detection.
Nedbank Oliver Top Empowerment Awards 2026 — two categories
The Oliver Top Empowerment Awards recognise companies "demonstrating excellence in B-BBEE and contributing to the growth and sustainability of the South African economy". addanode was named a finalist in:
- Top Empowered Company: Digital Transformation of the Year Award (sponsored by Nedbank)
- Top Empowered Company: Sustainable Business of the Year (sponsored by Nedbank)
What it means — and what it doesn't
We'll say it plainly, because plain is how we write: these are finalist placements, not wins. But for a company our size — building hardware and software in-house, in Johannesburg — being shortlisted alongside the continent's established players, in categories spanning AI, sustainability, empowerment and digital transformation, tells us the thesis is working: leading-edge industrial IoT, priced for the markets that need it most.
The work behind the certificates is on this site, not in a trophy cabinet: the case studies, non-revenue water reduction, condition monitoring and the technology we build in-house.
